Wow—what a week!

In English, we learned about a rather fancy-sounding skill called ‘elaborative diacope’ – essentially a repeated phrase—which the children have absolutely loved practicing. They used this skill beautifully in their writing showcase pieces, creatively describing a setting to another world…

In Maths, we have continued to practice long division and are very impressed at how quickly the children have picked it up. Good job everyone! We have also enjoyed lots of Christmas problem solving puzzles that have given our brains a good old workout.

Antares also did a great job designing earthquake resistant buildings this week, inspired by Polaris’ designs from previous weeks.

We wish you all a very peaceful, restful Christmas break. Thank you for all of your support—it is so appreciated.

See you in 2022!
