It was lovely this week to see the classrooms filled with smiling faces and happy children. This week we spent a lot of time getting to know each other and our surroundings, we played lots of ‘getting to know you’ games and explored all the areas of our classrooms, both inside and out!
We had our first assembly with Mr Biddulph and Mrs Bray, where we did lots of singing and learnt some new songs with actions. We met new friends from other classes at lunch as we sat with them and introduced ourselves, everyone was very friendly and helpful.
We also had our first P.E lesson this week with Sam from Premier Sport. We learnt about spatial awareness and finding spaces when we are moving around.
Next week will be the start of full days, and Miss Tutchener, Miss Hulston and Mrs Rodrigues are really excited to spend more time with you.
Reminders for the first day:
- 3.15 pm finish next week.
- Please bring your water bottle and book bag to school with you everyday.
- Please name everything!
- Please make sure the office are aware of any dietary or medical needs your child has.
- Every child needs to have a spare set of clothes brought into school.
