Rebeca Quevedo-Marron – I have worked as a junior solicitor in my home country of Perú. In 2004 I lived in Spain as a postgraduate student, relocating to UK when I got married. Before joining UCPS I worked in the UK Civil Service for 5 years, then for the Local Authority as bilingual teaching assistant. I believe Education transforms lives and schools are second homes for children hence the importance of being a role model-educator. I have a great fondness for Latin American Literature. Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa, Carlos Fuentes being the authors closest to my heart. I support projects such as the National Trust as I believe cultural heritage and history should be preserved for future generations.
